A few people have been inquiring about overnight stay while you're gaming the hardcore stuff at Lanopolis 5.0!

Well here's the deal: This time around, we won't have a security guard, (yay!), however the rules of the road unfortunately remain mostly unchanged.

The external doors to Tabaret will still be locked at 11:00PM, and unlocked at 7:00AM.
* What does this mean? - It means that Between the hours of 11:00PM and 7:00AM, you MAY NOT re-enter the building, however you may LEAVE at any time throughout the night. Think of it like an inverted jail cell.

So with that said, please make sure to arrange necessary sleeping arrangements (should you be crazy enough to actually sleep). For most people this won't be a problem since you can leave at any time throughout the night, but you can't come back before 7:00AM (but who'd do that anyways!).
* To clarify also, the only sleeping accommodations we can provide is the comfy, yet oh so hard, ... floor. Sorry, if you're coming from afar and were hoping for a luxurious dorm room or something, the best we can suggest is to make a post on the forums asking someone for room & board! ;-0

Our apologies to those who might need a smoke break during the night ... we're not sure what to do about YOU people ;-0 (we'll let you know)

So ya! That's it for now on this topic. If you have any questions, be sure to ask them.

LOL... the best and easiest solution is to get yourself a doorman.. if your planning to go smoke, get one of your friend to wait at the door... but make sure to tip him Smile or else he'll leave you out and win all to goodies for himself. Wink

Can we bring a air mattress in the event that some of us DO actually pass out from lack of sleep?

Ya sure!

(There's not a WHOLE lot of space on the floor, but if you look at the side passage ways, there's probably some nice spots there.)

Yes please do Sleep after tournament hrs, and trust me, you'll appreciate the Lan more. Been there done that so many time (Lanopoils 5 is my 27x Lan outside of my house).

There's nothing more too suck, then trying to beat sleep & wait for the other to wake up for the next tournament and not have your game face on to lose in the first round.

The point of a lan party is to not sleep- you stay up the whole night. I'm not sleeping, I don't care how many balls I have to drink.
